Who & What is

Inked Hourglass?

Hello!

I’m Thaleia Sun, a Non-Binary tattoo artist located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Seattle, WA. Studying under the ever-talented Emma Grace at Elevation Project.

From childhood, permanent markers were always hidden from me as my fascination for drawing was uncontrollable; spreading from paper to walls, bedsheets, school desks, friend’s bodies and eventually the occasional art show. I received my first tattoo at the age of 16, professionally at a studio, following that, there was really only one thing I ever wanted to do.

InkedHourglass is the name of my tattooing and art business. I originally picked it as a teen when I daydreamed what to name the studio I hope to one day open. The art that stays with us as our time slowly runs out is unique to each individual. I saw everyone around me as decorated hourglasses.

First touching needle to skin in the summer of 2025 my main focus is creating an approachable, healing, and kickass space for all who are interested in body art.

Tattooing personally helped me kick a decade long habit of self-harm and start appreciating my meat-suit. I hope to help others find the healing and growth we can experience through the process of tattooing.

AND I wanna make people look super cool.

XOXO
